Application Process

All applications to attend the Ocean Heroes Bootcamp are reviewed by Captain Planet Foundation and Lonely Whale.

Qualified candidates will be contacted by the Ocean Heroes HQ team to complete their registration.

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis – and we anticipate all spots will be filled by March 31, 2019. Please apply early.

Bootcamp Details & Requirements

The Bootcamp is FREE to attend – all you pay for is your plane ticket*. If you’re accepted, you will be hosted at the University of British Columbia by the Ocean Heroes Bootcamp, courtesy of Ocean Heroes HQ and our scholarship sponsors. Meals will also be provided throughout the duration of the Bootcamp at no additional charge.

To join us at Ocean Heroes Bootcamp you must be between 11 – 18 years old and we do require 1 letter of support from a parent, guardian, teacher, or community member.

* You’ll be able to apply for a travel scholarship during the application process.
